The Art Campus at Fallbrook is home to many fine arts and performing arts organizations. The School of the Arts at the Art Campus conducts classes in ceramics, glass, printmaking, painting and sculpture under the direction of some of the finest artists in the U.S.

Known as the "Avocado Capital of the World", Fallbrook has been a primary avocado growing area since the fruit was first planted locally in 1912. Floriculture and citrus crops, along with avocados, account for nearly one-third of the area's income. Fallbrook is a botanical paradise with nurseries that are far from usual. Exotic plant life and garden ornaments fill the hillsides. Sturdy white rail fences mark miles of equestrian trails, adjacent to avocado, lemon, cherimoya and macadamia nut groves, while floppy scarecrows and windmills watch over vegetable gardens in this relaxed, rural environment.

Fallbrook's 26-acre Live Oak Park features playgrounds, baseball fields, wild flower gardens, picnic areas and open space. Los Jilgueros Preserve is 46 acres of open space on the southern approach to Fallbrook. With its secluded pristine natural growth, it's a unique place to see native California flora and fauna and fire-resistant vegetation, while enjoying a walk along the trails or having a quiet picnic.

A wide variety of homes are available in Fallbrook, ranging from small condominiums and moderately sized homes, to large estate homes that span several acres and offer spectacular views of nearby communities.

In fact, Fallbrook real estate is known for homes on large acreage, many built around four area golf courses and country clubs.
