Oceanside Real Estate
Oceanside is San
Diego’s northernmost coastal community along the I-5 corridor and the last stop
before Camp Pendleton, the largest Marine base in the country. Located 35 miles
north of San Diego and 16 miles south of Orange County, Oceanside is home to
about 160,000 residents. Commuter trains that link Oceanside conveniently to
San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles serve the city.
Offering three and half miles of beaches
and the 1,000 slip Oceanside Harbor, the city lives up to
its reputation as a lively beach community. The harbor is surrounded by shops, restaurants
and a lighthouse and boasts a 1,900-foot long pier. The Buena Vista
Lagoon serves as a wetlands preserve with hiking trails, special events and a
Nature Interpretive Center.
Oceanside is home
to a variety of apartments, condominiums, and single-family homes, and offers
some of the County’s most affordable coastal living. Oceanside is also the site
of a number of business and industrial parks, including Ocean Ranch Business
Center and Gateway Business Park that will bring an increasing number of
residents and new development to the area.
